Italian Sub Sliders – A Little Crunch, A Lotta Flavor
These Italian Sub Sliders are next-level delicious — think warm, toasty rolls loaded with melty cheese, savory deli meats, and a tangy, crunchy salad mix that pulls it all together. Perfect for parties, family dinners, or just because you’re craving something seriously satisfying.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

For the Salad Topping:
  • 8 oz shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup mayo
  • ¼ cup red onion, diced
  • ½ cup dill pickles, chopped
  • ½ cup pickled banana peppers, chopped
The Meats (feel free to mix and match!):
  • 4 oz deli turkey
  • 4 oz corn beef
  • 4 oz pepperoni or salami
The Rest:
  • One 12-count pack of King’s Hawaiian Savory Butter Rolls
  • 4–6 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp dried Italian seasoning

Let’s Make Them:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Slice your rolls in half (keep the tops aside). Spread a good layer of mayo on the bottom halves and place them in an oven-safe tray or a 9×13 dish. Toast those in the oven for 7–10 minutes, or until they’re golden and crisp. Don’t skip this step — it keeps everything from getting soggy later!
  3. While those toast, chop up your deli meats and heat them in a skillet over medium heat. You just want them nice and warm.
  4. In a bowl, stir together your shredded lettuce, mayo, onion, pickles, and banana peppers. This topping is where the magic happens.
  5. Once your bottom buns are toasted, lay the provolone slices on top, then pile on your hot meats. Put the top buns back on.
  6. Mix the melted butter and Italian seasoning together and brush it over the tops of the buns.
  7. Pop the whole tray back into the oven for another 5–7 minutes until everything is warm and melty.
  8. Carefully lift the top buns, add a generous scoop of the salad topping onto the meat, then gently press the tops back on. Slice and serve right away!

A Few Notes From My Kitchen to Yours:

  • Can’t find submarine dressing? Just mix 2 Tbsp olive oil, 2 tsp red wine vinegar, and 1 tsp Italian seasoning. Easy and tasty.
  • Not a fan of mayo for toasting? Butter works just fine — but whatever you do, don’t skip the toasting.
  • These sliders are best eaten fresh. If left to sit too long, they will get soggy.
  • Prefer them cold? Go for it! These are still delicious straight from the fridge. And don’t be afraid to mix it up with your favorite meats or toppings — make it your own!

Trust me, these won’t last long. Let me know what combos you try – I love hearing new twists on this one!

I help women overcome their negative mindset and start remembering their light is worth shining!

Welcome! I'm so glad you found your way here.

Hey there! πŸ‘‹

I'm Michelle — the voice (and occasional chef hat wearer) behind this little corner of the internet where family, fun, and food intersect... just not always in that order. πŸ˜„

If you've ever wondered how to slow down long enough to actually taste life (and not just the leftovers on your kid's plate), you're in the right place.

Here's the deal: I'm a busy mom with a heart full of curiosity and a kitchen full of half-used spices. Some days we're chasing sunsets, exploring small towns, and hopping on steam trains. Other days we're elbow-deep in pierogies, trying a new recipe, or laughing over whatever adventure the day throws our way.

I believe the best memories aren't always the expensive vacations or picture-perfect moments. More often than not, they're found around the dinner table, on a spontaneous road trip, or during an afternoon that wasn't planned at all.

Why This Blog Exists
I didn't start this blog to make you jump through hoops.

I started it because I was tired of everyone else doing it.

You know the drill. You find a recipe you're excited to make... and before you can even see the ingredients, you've dodged six pop-ups, watched three ads, and learned someone's entire life story.

Or you're told to "Comment COOKIE πŸͺ for the recipe!" so a robot can send it to your inbox—and suddenly you're getting emails every day about things you never asked for.

No thanks.

Around here, I respect your time. If you click on a recipe, you'll get the recipe. If I recommend a place to visit, I'll tell you why it's worth the trip. No endless scrolling. No keyword games. No nonsense.

Life is busy enough.

I'm not here to waste your time—I'm here to help you enjoy it.

So if you're looking for recipes without the endless scrolling or pop-ups, family adventures that won't break the bank, honest recommendations, or just a reminder to slow down and enjoy the little things, you've found your people.

Grab a cup of coffee, stay awhile, and make yourself at home.

I'm so glad you're here. ❀️
