The last port of call before heading back to Seattle was Canada.
British Columbia, to be exact. British Columbia is a beautiful Victorian town. Down to the horse and carriage rides available right outside the port.
British Columbia was the shortest port time we had. We arrived in port at 8:00pm and all board time was 11:30 pm. The last night of the cruise requires us to pack our luggage and leave it outside our cabin before we can go play.
Once we could disembark, we walked to the downtown area. According to the map, the walk is about 20 minutes.
Because of different walking speeds, some people fell behind. I noticed a playground and suggested this spot to was a perfect spot to wait on the others.
Honestly, who wants to be in a foreign country with five children and no other adults? Not me. Way too much responsibility.
Our venture into Canada ended there. And, I can not complain.
The next hour, all the children played on that playground. The time spent on that playground brought smiles to all our faces. Your inner child can always jump in and play when the mood is right, regardless of your age.
The harbor hugged the shore. With the city lights beaming over the water, the sight was beautiful.
If you stop in British Columbia, take the kids to the playground. That will have a blast.
If you’ve been to British Columbia, tell me what you did in port.
