Nothing says I love you like corn beef. Ok, that may be a strecth, but you get my drift.
I don’t know what it is about corn beef that makes it taste so good. But dang is it expensive!
Therefore, corn beef is a rare occasion in this house.
I am sharing with you a simple recipe that may help satisfy the corn beef cravings in your house.
I call this recipe a Corn Beef Stromboli.
Items you need:
1 can of Pillsbury Pizza Crust
1 lb of sliced Corn Beef from the deli
1 Package of sauerkraut- squeeze out as much juice as you can. Otherwise, your Stromboli will be soggy.
1 pack of Provolone cheese (or any cheese)
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
Roll your pizza crust out flat on a baking sheet
Lay your corn beef in the middle of the pizza crust.
Top the corn beef with your sauerkraut..
Finish your masterpiece with the cheese. Layer the slices across the top.
To create the braid start in the center and cut your crust to the edge. Then criss cross the edges on top of the corn beef, sauerkraut, and cheese.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Allow to cool for a few minutes before you bite into.
Enjoy!!
