The truth about gratitude
Look anywhere and the answer people give you to have a happier life is easy. You simply need to be grateful and find more gratitude in your life.

Even all the “Gurus” will tell you that—Gratitude is the answer to all your problems.

My issue with this philosophy is the people usually offering this advice only repeat what they know, or remember hearing. And leave off the most valuable piece of advice. 

Don’t get me wrong, I believe gratitude is a good thing. And I understand why people think that is the answer. 

The saying goes, Where your attention goes, it grows. So in theory, if you are focusing on the good things in your life, you will see more good things. 

The problem lies when we think we can out gratitude the other problems in our life. And sadly, life doesn’t work that way. 

You still have to resolve the problems that are causing disruptions in your life. If you choose to ignore the problems, they will grow. 

So yes, find gratitude in life, but don’t ignore the storm that is brewing. The longer you pretend you don’t have struggles, the stronger the hold those problems have on you. 

Finding Gratitude is only one piece of the puzzle. I hope you take the time to use all the pieces you are given to live the life you desire.
