DIY Baby & Body Powder
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup arrowroot powder
- 1/4 cup bentonite clay
- 1–2 drops essential oil (lavender is my favorite)
Instructions
Add the arrowroot powder and bentonite clay to a glass jar. I use a mason jar because why dirty a bowl when it's going to end up in a jar anyway?
Put the lid on and give it a good shake to combine the powders.
Add 1–2 drops of your favorite essential oil, then shake again until everything is well mixed.
Store in a glass container.

Why I Love This Recipe
This talc-free baby and body powder is a simple swap for traditional powders. With only 3 ingredients and less than 5 minutes of prep time, you get a powder you can feel good about using on yourself and your family.
Sometimes removing toxins from your home starts with one simple swap at a time.
If you're old enough to remember Shower to Shower powder, think of this as a natural version.
Ways to Use It
For babies:
Use it in place of traditional baby powder and feel confident knowing exactly what's touching your baby's skin.

For adults:
This powder helps absorb excess moisture, especially during the hot summer months. Use it anywhere you need a little extra dryness and comfort—under your breasts, behind your knees, under your arms, on your feet, or anywhere else that tends to get sweaty.
